Association ATIGAH is an international cultural and humanitarian organization founded by young Togolese artists with a shared belief that culture is a vital force for identity, education, and sustainable development.
Established in Lomé, Togo, ATIGAH is dedicated to preserving and promoting Africa’s rich cultural heritage through traditional dance, music, and ancestral expression. Guided by the values of fraternity, love, equality, peace, and solidarity, the association uses art to unite people across generations and cultures.
As a cultural ambassador for Togo and Africa, ATIGAH has performed at major international festivals across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, sharing authentic African traditions on global stages and fostering cross-cultural understanding.
ATIGAH is renowned for its mastery of traditional African dances and percussion, including ceremonial, ritual, and stilt performances that combine powerful rhythms, sacred symbolism, and striking visual artistry. Each performance is a living transmission of history, meaning, and identity.
Beyond performance, ATIGAH empowers youth through cultural education and artistic practice, helping preserve endangered traditions while creating opportunity, pride, and purpose for future generations.
We organize cultural dance events and live performances that celebrate tradition, creativity, and community through music, movement, and artistic expression.
We are a passionate cultural group dedicated to promoting dance, culture, and unity by creating joyful and meaningful live event experiences.
Our aim is to bring people together through cultural dance while preserving traditions and inspiring connection, creativity, and shared cultural appreciation.
Association ATIGAH believes that culture must serve humanity. Beyond performance and cultural exchange, we are committed to direct, lasting action for children and youth across Africa.
As a foundation for this mission, we have acquired land in Togo to serve as a model humanitarian and educational center for Africa. This space is being developed as a safe, sustainable environment where less fortunate children can live, study, and learn essential life skills that lead to independence, dignity, and long-term stability.
Alongside this long-term vision, ATIGAH is taking action today by collecting and sending school supplies to children across Africa, ensuring they can attend school with confidence and keep their focus on education rather than daily hardship. Education is the first step toward opportunity, and no child should be held back because of a lack of basic resources.
Our vision extends beyond one location or one country. Through education, mentorship, and practical training in areas such as farming, tailoring, craftsmanship, and self-reliance, we are building a scalable model that can be replicated across communities throughout Africa.
This is hands-on humanitarian work that calls for collective effort. Every contribution helps provide school supplies, build learning and training spaces, and create pathways for young people to grow with purpose and hope.
We are not waiting for change. We are building it.
